Kelsey Brewster has her hands full juggling her online job and caring for her sister, Molly, while their parents serve on a nine-month mission. The highlight of her week is taking shifts at The Grateful Fork since food is her passion. She never expects to be drawn to a man with a past like Rick’s.

When the owner’s niece steps in to manage the restaurant, it goes downhill. As Rick and Kelsey fight to save it from her mismanagement, their friendship grows—as well as their attraction. But Rick thinks Kelsey is out of his league. Kelsey doubts her appeal since her close friends have gotten married, but she can’t even get a date.

After a spontaneous kiss, Rick pulls away, convinced he isn’t good enough for her. As his ministry flourishes, he’s forced to face the question: has he fully accepted the grace he preaches to others?
